EDWARDS FAMILY DENTAL CUSTOMIZES 

STUDENT'S MOUTHGUARDS FOR TEAM SPIRIT

DUBLIN, OH --  Edwards Family Dental, in Dublin, Ohio has partnered with Dublin City Schools to provide mouth guards for middle and high school lacrosse and football players.

          Tim Edwards, DDS, and his staff at Edwards Family Dental, at 6235 A Perimeter Drive, are working with middle and high school team trainers to create customized mouth guards in team colors for each player interested in participating. 

Dr. Edwards is providing this service free of charge to school lacrosse and football players who contact the dental practice.                           

          “We love being a part of the Dublin community, and we enjoy supporting our schools,” said Dr. Edwards.  “Creating custom mouth guards for some of our students and patients is a great way to give back and get involved.”

          Creating the mouth guards is easy for the students, as well.  They simply come to the Edwards Family Dental office and have an impression taken of their teeth.  Then, they come back a few days later and pick up their mouth guard, custom-fitted and loaded with their school team colors.

          Dr. Edwards emailed all Dublin middle and high school athletic trainers in March about providing the free mouth guards.  After the trainers sent the information to parents, many students have taken advantage of the service. 

          Dr. Edwards' staff came up with the idea after creating some custom mouth guards for a Dublin middle school football team.  As the program progresses, the staff hopes to treat more patients and athletes to this service to show school spirit.
